Sponsor Benefits

How will Individual Sponsors benefit?

  • Women have long known that they are not playing on a level playing field. Women are not adequately represented in the United States Senate, Congress, corporate boardrooms, or as heads of Fortune 500 companies. The women who are outstanding are not equally featured in news or on TV.
  • How are girls to know that these women are succeeding? You have the oportunity to give them wings. To let them know it is possible to combine a career and a family. To encourage them to go for the career of their dreams, not one dictated by lack of preparation or lack of choice.
  • If America is going to continue to be a super power, we need 100% of our citizens contributing and loving their work and their lives.

How will Corporate Sponsors benefit?

  • Your company will be perceived as woman friendly. This will put you at an advantage when competing for employees.
  • You will help to create a more qualified, more diverse workforce. This will insure your ability to hire qualified employees in the future.
  • You will be able to generate positive publicity. You can simply discuss your involvement in Dare to Dream, or you can build on the program by sponsoring contests or offering scholarships to deserving young women (children of employees, etc.)
  • You will raise morale within your company. Involvement in a community program allows employees a chance to be proud of their company.
  • You will be serving the greater good. Each of us has a responsibility to serve the less fortunate. Studies have shown that girls think it is necessary to limit their dreams and achievements. Sponsoring Dare to Dream will help us right this wrong.
  • At this moment girls are not taking math and science courses. Yet in October of 2000 the Senate passed another emergency immigration bill allowing more skilled technical workers into this country to fill jobs that were otherwise vacant. Wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to raise our own young citizens to take those jobs?
