Distribution
There are 12,384 middle schools and 3,563 schools with grades 7-12 -- a total of 15,947 public, independent and Catholic schools.
There are several options for distributing Dare To Dream:
* Download your own copy
* through Women's Organizations
* through school associations
* through community conscious retailers
The best way to show the video in a school setting is to tie in with female community leaders who will come to the school and talk to the kids. Each school has some parents who are doctors, lawyers, businesswomen, artists, dancers, etc. Parents enjoy participating in their kids' schooling, and the kids benefit when their parents get involved. Direct participation by parents in school programs creates a win/win situation.
Form a relationship with NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners) or other women's organizations, such as Junior League, National Science Teachers Association, Women in Technology, or hospitals. Successful women are happy to go to schools to serve as role models for students. However, first they must be asked and welcomed.
You are welcome to download a Dare to Dream video for use in your classroom or community group.
